Eighteen graduating seniors from Pennsylvania College of Technology’s architecture & sustainable design major will showcase their work in “Architecture & Sustainable Design: Senior Capstone Projects,” on display May 16-19 in The Gallery at Penn College. A reception for the exhibit is set for 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 16, in the gallery on the third floor of The Madigan Library.

There’s always something intriguing going on at Penn College’s campuses, and one calm-weather day in April unfolded a controlled burn for the benefit of forest technology students and the Schneebeli Earth Science Center woodlands.

“Building Resilience – Making Positive Changes” was the theme of the fourth annual Wildcat Wellness Fair, hosted recently by students enrolled in the Clinical Psychology class, Counseling Services and Student Engagement. The healthy and healing hands-on happening featured a range of Penn College student organizations and services – all aiming to uplift, encourage and de-stress students during the busy spring season.

Axalta Coating Systems Ltd. is increasing its longstanding support of Pennsylvania College of Technology. A leading global coatings company, Axalta has committed to an annual $15,000 donation of paint and related supplies for the next five years, benefiting collision repair and automotive restoration students

The Friday afternoon before finals stirred Wildcats into a frolicking frenzy, and the “Semester Send-Off,” hosted by the Office of Student Engagement, offered just the right ticket to fun.

Nothing foretells the end of the semester and the start of finals quite like the campus tradition of “Midnight Breakfast.” Thursday evening, 425 Penn College students braved intense rains to pile up stacks of pancakes, donuts, ice cream and other treats in Dauphin Hall’s Capitol Eatery.

It’s that time of year again: Penn College’s Schneebeli Earth Science Center is rolling out the “greenhouse carpet,” inviting shoppers to its annual bedding plant sale. The much-anticipated event begins Monday, May 5 and runs through Wednesday, May 7. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, with Wednesday’s hours 9 a.m. to noon.

Ten Pennsylvania College of Technology students were recently awarded financial assistance through the Allan Myers Corporate Scholars program. Allan Myers, one of the mid-Atlantic’s largest heavy civil construction firms, is a decades-long supporter of the college and its “tomorrow maker” students.

The Physical Therapist Assistant Recruitment Day, held recently in the atrium of the Breuder Advanced Technology & Health Sciences Center, connected a number of employers with the Penn College talent they are seeking. The event was among 12 major-specific recruitment opportunities organized by Career Services during Spring 2025.

The campus community is encouraged to support Penn College Theatrics and its production of “Radium Girls” this weekend. The play begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Penn’s Inn. Doors will open at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
